Have you ever just wanted to enjoy a good, old-fashioned dining experience in Nebraska? Not many restaurants still carry that old charm that we used to have. For a classic dining experience at an old-school steakhouse that hasn't changed much in decades, check out Johnny's Cafe, an Omaha institution. There's nothing quite like this old-school steakhouse in Nebraska!
Welcome to Johnny's, an old-school steakhouse in Omaha.
The first thing a classic steakhouse needs is (of course) steak, but have no fear! There's plenty of steak to go around here, from t-bone and ribeye cuts to filet and sirloin.
Johnny's Cafe first opened in 1922 as a saloon with only eight seats, but after going through Prohibition and plenty of renovations over the years, it's grown to become an Omaha staple.
Not into steal? Try Johnny's chicken fried steak or seafood options!
Other items on the menu often include various homemade meals from our childhoods, brought up to a restaurant quality. Tuna noodles, anyone?
Their belief that good food and good service never go out of style is what ensures that Johnny's will always a part of Omaha's dining scene. The friendly hometown service is a big reason why many keep coming back decades later.
Johnny's Cafe is open from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays, and from 5 to 9 p.m. on Saturdays.
