Nebraska’s Best Farm Brewery Is Unexpectedly Awesome
Nebraska-brewed beer has enjoyed a whole lot of growth and attention in the past decade or two. There are plenty of hometown brews that we think beat out the big names, no question. One of our very favorite Nebraska breweries is Kinkaider Brewing Company, located just outside of Broken Bow on a picturesque farm.
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. While we continue to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, please take proper precautions or add them to your bucket list to see at a later date. If you know of a local business that could use some extra support during these times, please nominate them here: onlyinyourstate.com/nominate
Out here in the sandhills of Custer County, this plucky little farm brewery was started by four Nebraska natives who saw the potential for the area's crops in the brewing industry.
Sample them one glass at a time, or order a flight and try a whole bunch of varieties. Allow plenty of time to try them all, though; they rotate seasonally and every single variety is worth a try.
Not long after the brewery opened just outside of Broken Bow, the Tap Room followed. This gorgeous space right on the farm features a full menu and plenty of room for gathering with friends and enjoying your favorite beers.
The savory menu is far from an afterthought that you have only when you realize you need something to soak up the alcohol. It makes the Tap Room a destination all on its own.
Check out Kinkaider Brewing Company for yourself at 43860 Paulsen Rd, Broken Bow, NE 68822. You can also find locations in Grand Island at 316 N Pine St and Lincoln at 201 North 7th St. Check out Kinkaider’s website or Facebook page for more information and upcoming events.
