This Incredible Apple Festival Is The Perfect Start To A Nebraska Fall
Fall will be here before you know it, and with it will come the season’s greatest offerings: cooler days, colorful leaves, and the legendary AppleJack Festival in Nebraska City. The city-wide celebration grows every year and is always packed with fun activities.

The AppleJack Festival has been named one of the 10 best Fall harvest celebrations in the country by USA Today. And it seems that plenty of people have gotten the memo: the crowd this year is expected to top 80,000 visitors.
Every year, the streets of Nebraska City are packed with revelers who come to celebrate the start of harvest season. Nebraska City is the home of Arbor Day and the unofficial Apple Capital of Nebraska. This important crop is definitely reason to celebrate.
The festival lasts for three days and stretches out across the entire city. There are so many things to do that you may have trouble fitting them all in.
...and, of course, everything apples. Apple pie, candy and caramel apples, apple cider, apple donuts, apple wine, and just about everything else apple-flavored that you can imagine.
And let's not forget about the fresh apples. The many orchards in and around Nebraska City will be open for business and offering more fun activities and attractions, including fresh apple picking.
This fun, family-friendly festival is one of the best Nebraska has to offer. There's so much to love about the weekend-long party that there's sure to be something for everyone.
Parking is a challenge during the festival, to say the least. Shuttle buses are available to take visitors between venues so you can leave your car in one spot all day while you enjoy everything this award-winning festival has to offer.
