Take This Easy Trail To An Amazing Triple Waterfall In Wyoming

Yellowstone National Park is a treasure, and Wyomingites are lucky to live so close. However, nobody really likes fighting crowds to see the typical sights, so plan a trip where you avoid Old Faithful, Grand Prismatic, and Mammoth, and instead find Undine Falls - a stunning hidden triple cascade in northwestern Wyoming.

The stunning triple cascade of Undine Falls is most frequently accessed from Grand Loop Road, where you can see the falls after a quick walk away from the turnout.

However, if you want to avoid the crowds, take the more lightly trafficked Lava Creek Canyon Trail.

This out-and-back trail will take you more than eight miles through Lava Creek Canyon on a relaxing hike through the greater Yellowstone ecosystem.

You'll cross the Gardner river via a (slightly terrifying) cable bridge, showing off a rare unspoiled view in an otherwise explored park.

The view of Undine Falls from the top is one you won't soon forget! This breathtaking waterfall crashes sixty feet down into the pool below, with three separate cascades.

Whichever way you view Undine Falls, you'll be amazed by the beauty hiding right here in plain sight.
