Take A Self-Drive Safari And Interact With Exotic Animals At Roer’s Zoofari In Virginia
Roer's Zoofari in Virginia offers a unique self-drive safari experience where visitors can see and feed rare animals from their cars.
Here in Virginia, we're blessed with an abundance of beautiful wildlife. However, if you're hoping to spot animals that are rarer to come by, then you might consider taking a trip to Roer's Zoofari. It's here you'll have the opportunity to see some truly special animals, including giraffes, zebras, and more. And the best part of all? Many of these animals can be spotted right from your car! Here's more on the self-drive safari that everyone in your family will love.
Open since 1975, Roer's Zoofari is a one-of-a-kind destination in Virginia where you can spot animals not traditionally common to the Virginia landscape.
The 30-acre farm is located near Vienna, Virginia and invites families from all over to tour the exiting animal exhibits.
Perhaps one of the most memorable experiences is hopping in your car for a self-guided zoofari.
As you drive - slowly! - through the park, you can roll your windows down and even feed some of the animals.
Visitors should note that outside food is strictly prohibited, and you must buy food cups at the farm.
The safari takes approximately 15 minutes to drive through. After you've finished, there's a self-guided walking tour that will take you to other animals in the park.
You really never know what kind of memorable animal encounters you'll experience!
After your trip, stop by the gift store for the perfect souvenir from your visit to Roer's Zoofari.
