Starting mid-July, Burnside Farms in Haymarket becomes ablaze with 8 acres of these gorgeous yellow blooms.

Over 30 varieties of sunflowers are planted to ensure the blooms last at least 6 weeks at a time.

Burnside Farms is home to one of the only two sunflower mazes in the entire country.

Can you imagine any experience more perfect for summer than losing yourself amidst an endless field of sunflowers?

For anyone who wishes to take a piece of this beautiful farm home with them, sunflowers can be cut and purchased for a small fee.

Visitors can also purchase colorful vases to enhance their bundle of flowers.

The farm includes other amenities, including an observation deck for incredible photographs, corn hole games, shaded picnic areas, and a bounce house for children.
