A hidden gem tucked in East Greenwich, Frenchtown Park and Frye Nature Preserve often gets overlooked when it comes to outdoor attractions.
That's a bonus, if you're looking for a place to spend time outdoors in a quiet setting. If you're lucky, you might not run into any other adventurers during your visit.
To get to know this hidden gem, wear a pair of sturdy hiking shoes or boots, and follow the Frenchtown Park Trail.
While it is rated easy, you will face some challenges along the way, mostly rocky terrain and tree roots. It can also get incredibly buggy during the warmer months, so bring insect repellant.
