Beavertail State Park consists of 150 acres of rocky cliffs, ocean views, and an iconic lighthouse. It's everything we love about Rhode Island wrapped up in one park package.

3. Norman Bird Sanctuary, Middletown

Norman Bird Sanctuary is truly an underrated treasure. Not only is this a fantastic place to go bird watching, it's also a perfect place to enjoy a nice, peaceful nature walk.

4. Goddard Memorial State Park, Warwick

This just might be Rhode Island's most beautiful park, if you take into consideration all of the beautiful beaches, beautiful hikes, and lush greenery perfect for enjoying picnic lunches.

5. Ninigret National Wildlife Refuge, Charlestown

This gorgeous wildlife refuge spans the shores of Ninigret Pond. The salt marshes, kettle ponds, and freshwater wetlands are simply magical, not to mention the 250 species of birds that call it home.

6. Lincoln Woods State Park, Lincoln

Lincoln Woods State Park spans 627 acres, each one more breathtaking than the last. If you've never been, you owe it to yourself to go, especially in the autumn.

7. Newport Cliff Walk, Newport

It doesn't matter how often you go to the Newport Cliff Walk. It takes your breath away every time, and we wouldn't want it any other way.
