Rhode Island has several unusual laws that many people might not be aware of.
Most laws make sense and are in place to maintain law and order in our communities. But some are a little bit strange. Here are 10 things in Rhode Island you might not have realized are actually illegal.

7. Racing a horse down the highway.
No, you may not test your horse for speed down 195.
8. Wearing transparent clothing in Providence.
This law is probably in everyone's best interest.
9. Watering the lawn or garden on even-numbered days in West Warwick.
Check your calendars before opening the spigot in West Warwick.
10. Using a cap gun.
Because you'll shoot your eye out, kid!
