The Fisherville Brooks Wildlife Refuge is the largest property maintained by the Rhode Island Audubon Society. Enjoy the scenic trails any time of the year from sunrise to sunset. However, during the fall when the landscape is aglow with color, this refuge in Exeter becomes something really special.

The wildlife refuge is home to more than five miles of trails. There are five trails total, the longest is 1.4 miles and the shortest is 1/3 of a mile. Hike one or combine several to create a hike that's just right for you.

This area is a wonderful spot to take the whole family. Even the youngest of children will enjoy the flat and level terrain.

Enjoy fields, forest, wetlands, and more. The red and white trails give way to lovely views of the marshy areas.
