The Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge encompasses 59,020 acres and serves as a habitat for many animals.

During your visit, you may see deer, elk, and more than 50 other mammal species.

A herd of around 650 bison call this beautiful place home.

Wildlife photographers love this place because of the many opportunities to capture great shots like this.

You'll find more than 30 miles of hiking trails here, all suitable for winter hiking.

You'll find the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge northwest of Lawton. The refuge is free to all visitors, and open seven days a week from sunrise to sundown. The Visitors Center is open daily from 9 AM to 5 PM.
