In the heart of Oklahoma City sits the Myriad Botanical Gardens, an urban garden consisting of 17 acres of unique plants and flowers. It's a garden paradise in the middle of skyscrapers and it's a great summer attraction for the whole family.
The gardens feature a 13,000-square-foot conservatory that houses entire eco-systems, including a tropical rainforest.
Filled with hundreds of types of plants and flowers, the tropical rainforest zone is truly breathtaking. Dozens of brightly colored orchids and hundreds of palms are just the beginning when it comes to the beautiful mix of tropical plants.
The outdoor space of the park is free and open to the public. This area includes The Great Lawn, a dog park, children's park, ornamental gardens, a lake, walking paths, and fountains.
The outdoor fountains and splash pad are favorite spots in the summer to cool off and enjoy a fresh mist.
The kids also love the carousel, so be sure to stop by and enjoy this attraction.
Plus, there are year-round events in the gardens that are open to the public. From children's activities to painting parties to yoga, you can find it all at Myriad Botanical Gardens.
This attraction is a popular destination in Oklahoma and enjoyed by thousands of visitors every year. Make sure to take your camera because you'll want to capture the astounding beauty at every corner.
