Cleveland MKT Trail is located in Cleveland, Oklahoma, and offers two trailheads to choose from (Off Jodebo Road and US 64).
The trail is a 4.9-mile lightly trafficked out-and-back route that is easy for all skill levels. You can go the whole way or just turn around whenever you get tired.
It's also a great trail for biking and little kids, as it's relatively flat the whole way. Plus, there are a few shaded spots to stop and enjoy a drink or picnic.
One of the coolest parts about it is how it follows an abandoned right-of-way of the old Missouri–Kansas–Texa Railroad (MKT).
You'll also pass over Lake Keystone and enjoy the beautiful scenery along the route. You can also see the majestic Osage Hills in the distance.
Just look how cool this old abandoned rail bridge is. Do you think you have the nerve to walk all the way across it?
If so, walk it at your own risk, as there are missing sections along the way.
