Take a trip to the stunning Sullys Hill National Game Preserve to experience the natural beauty and wildlife viewing opportunities.

You can ascend to the top of the hill to get a fantastic view of Devils Lake. Sullys Hill was originally established as a national park and later made a game preserve to serve as a breeding ground for thousands of animals.

One of those types of animals is the majestic bison. You're likely to see some during your visit, maybe before you even park your car!

Bison roam Sullys Hill in decently sized herds and if you visit at the right time of the year you might even see some adorable calves.

Bison are very large and strong creatures, so be sure to keep your distance and never attempt to directly interact with them. You can admire them from afar as they roam the park.

Sullys Hill is great for viewing all sorts of wildlife other than bison, too. Prairie dogs, elk, deer, coyotes, and a multitude of birds call this area home.

This destination is also great for flower lovers as it fills with wildflowers during the warm months. Who wouldn't love walking through a field of these?
