The Devil's Tramping Ground, located 10 miles from Siler City in western Chatham County, sits in a forested space near the Harper's Crossroads area in Bear Creek, North Carolina. Well-known legends surrounding this mysterious area have long captivated the imaginations of many. This creepy spot inspired a movie, "The Devil's Stomping Ground." The movie has been released to theaters and opened the 2022 Cucalorus Film Festival in Wilmington.
