This trail in the Santa Fe National Forest is by no means a casual hike, but the payoff is well worth it.

With a gain of over 2,000 feet and a rough terrain, this nearly 7-mile hike will test your strength.

The views along the way make this hike so worth it. The mountaintops make the perfect backdrop. Being located in the mountains, there's sometimes snowfall.

You'll find rivers leading to Nambe Falls, and many rocks. Watch your step!

Once you reach the end, the hidden oasis that is Nambe Lake awaits you.
