4. Observation Tower at Platte River State Park, near Louisville

5. Blackbird Scenic Overlook, near Decatur

Blackbird Hill has a long and storied history among the Omaha tribe. Chief Blackbird is buried here, and the hill is said to be the site of a haunting. There is a wonderful shelter with information about the site and the tribe, and the view of the Missouri River is spectacular.

6. Little Grand Canyon, near Wauneta
