Even the state's largest city has a horse in the race, with Minnehaha Creek falling 53 feet to create the famous Minnehaha Falls. This Minneapolis waterfall, like all the others in the state, is beautiful in the summertime, but in the winter, it holds an otherworldly beauty that will take your breath away.

Minnehaha Regional Park is just as pretty in the winter as it is in the summer.

It is a popular spot year round.

Why? Because the 53-foot frozen falls is breathtaking to behold.
