Many of these alpacas are rescued when their owners fall ill or can no longer afford to take care of them.
Alpacas are known for their soft, thick coat of hair which is used for wool to create fuzzy, socks, sweaters, and even blankets!
Alpacas generally get along with each other, but they will spit at each other if they feel that one is encroaching on the other's food!
But don't worry, when it comes to other humans, they are as friendly as can be!
And at Winslow Farm Animal Sanctuary, you'll get to get up close and personal with these furry friends.
In addition to alpacas, Winslow Farm Animal Sanctuary is home to a variety of other animals.
In fact, there are about 300 rescued animals at the farm which include horses, sheep, llamas, goats, peacocks, chickens, ducks, geese, donkeys, mules, pheasants, cats, dogs, and emus.
