Headwaters Conservation Area is home to nearly 3 miles of hiking trails, which all offer equally beautiful views as well as diverse habitats.

From natural wetlands to hardwood forests, this nature area provides many different varieties of natural habitats. There's even an area that used to be farmland, and is now home to the area's most stunning flowers.

The name Headwaters Conservation Area comes from the fact that this preserve protects some of Westport's most important freshwater sources. The headwaters of this brook feed the Noquochoke River and Westport River.
