Sandy Point State Park is located on the Northwestern shore of the Chesapeake Bay. It offers long stretches of sandy beach.

There's plenty of coastline to walk along.

You'll want to spend the whole day here, lounging under an umbrella, building sand castles, swimming and playing.

Lifeguards are on duty here until Labor Day.

On weekends, this beach can get very crowded. If at all possible, schedule your excursion for a weekday. We won't tell if you call in sick...

You'll certainly work up an appetite while you're here. Near South Beach, you'll find concessions and picnic supplies.
