1. Larriland Farm (Woodbine)
When it comes to apple picking in Maryland, no place beats Larriland Farm in Woodbine. This pick-your-own-fruit farm has bountiful fruit to choose from nearly year-round. Autumn is, of course, plentiful with apples. They also offer hayrides for a festive experience.

2. Rock Hill Orchard (Mount Airy)
This farm offers pick-your-own apples on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Be sure to also check out the homemade ice cream and pies while you're here. Delicious!
3. Baugher's Orchard & Farm (Westminster)
Baugher's Orchard & Farm has a variety of fruits to pick year-round and even has an on-site restaurant with great homemade food. It truly comes alive in autumn with its apple cider, U-pick apples, and pumpkins.
4. The Orchard at Doc Waters Cidery (Germantown)
Apple lovers, rejoice! There are so many varieties of apples found here, it's difficult to choose which ones to pick (maybe try one of each). An extra special treat is that this is also a pretty wonderful cidery, so you can try a refreshing hard cider while apple picking.
5. Butler's Orchard (Germantown)
Another Germantown orchard makes the list of places to go apple picking in Maryland, and this one offers an abundance of fruits to pick. If it's apples you seek, Butler's Orchard has a few varieties as well as festive events throughout the season.
6. Catoctin Mountain Orchard (Thurmont)
Catoctin Mountain Orchard includes a wagon ride to and from the pick-your-own fields. There's also a bakery on-site with mouthwatering pies.
7. Milburn Orchards (Elkton)
Milburn Orchards has a few types of apples and the "u-pick" apples calendar changes week by week. Do not leave without trying their famous apple cider donuts. Trust us - they're delicious.

8. Heyser Farms (Silver Spring)
This spot is home to the unique Spencerville Red Apple. They also have an old-fashioned apple press that makes some of the freshest cider you've ever tasted. We're hungry just thinking about it. Add this to your list of farms to visit in the fall in Maryland.
9. Weber's Cider Mill Farm (Parkville)
Weber's Cider Mill Farm is known for being quite festive during the fall season (trust us, you'll want to check out their baked goods). What many don't know is that right down the road they have a pick-your-own farm known as Weber's PeachBerry Farm. You'll definitely want to partake in their delicious apples!
10. Gardenhour Orchards (Smithsburg)
This place is located in such a pretty spot. Pick-your-own apples are available from mid-September so plan your trip today to Gardenhour Orchards in the charming town of Smithsburg.
11. Blades Orchard (Federalsburg)
The U-pick season is always bursting with flavor at Blades Orchard. After spending some time picking apples, head to the tasting room to sample some of the farm's hard cider. What a perfect treat to end an autumn day.
12. M&C Vessey Farm (Westover)
Keep things simple by visiting this charming orchard. Along with picking apples, this place also sells seasonal pumpkins, mums, and more.
13. Shaw Orchards (White Hall)
Nestled next to the Mason-Dixon Line, this orchard offers hayrides along with pick-your-own apples. Visit the
