The Witt's End Trail in Norway was created as a way to help local Oxford Hills folks keep healthy and in shape. But it's also a wonderful way to get outside and appreciate all the beautiful nature that Maine provides.

The trail connects Crockett Ridge Road and Pleasant Street with a 4.5-mile trail that's great for walkers, hikers, and even those with bikes.

In addition to offering a fun way to stay in shape, the trail also provides access to some of Maine's nest woodland habitats.

Along the out-and-back trail, visitors will see pine, cedar, balsam, hemlock, basswood, beech, and maple trees.

In the fall, trees are awash in color and in the spring, new greenery makes this pop.

While the boardwalk isn't totally accessible for wheelchairs, it should work alright for strollers.

But it's truly best for walking and taking in the sights and smells of the Maine forest.
