Enjoy Cool, Crisp Water At This Beachy State Park In Louisiana

Cypremort Point State Park in Louisiana offers a picturesque and relaxing getaway with swimming, fishing, and stunning sunsets.

Louisiana has tons of picturesque swimming holes that make for a memorable day of fun in the sun. One of our favorites is Cypremort Point State Park, an outdoor oasis that’s so picture-perfect, you’ll think you’ve slipped away to a tropical paradise. Grab your swimsuit and don't forget your sunscreen, you're going to need it while you're splashing around in the cool, crisp waters of Vermilion Bay. Let's check it out:

Cypremort Point State Park is located along the shores of Vermilion Bay.

Located near the very end of Hwy. 319, it’s one of the few areas near the Gulf of Mexico that you can get to by car. It’s pretty isolated, making it perfect for a relaxing getaway.

There's a ton of outdoor adventure to be had here, and the beach is one of them.

In between splashing around in the bay, soak up some sun with your toes in the sand and enjoy the view.

There are plenty of grills around, so feel free to make a day of it and grill up some lunch.

It's a great spot for fishing, too.

The reds are huge!

Catch your dinner and throw it right on the grill!

Want to extend your stay? Rent one of the cabins for the ultimate experience.

You'll have mesmerizing views of the surrounding swamps and marshes and still be just steps away from white sandy beaches. It's the best of both worlds!

Just be sure to stick around for the sunset.

The sunsets off of Vermilion Bay are unlike any other, trust us.
