Everyone In Indianapolis Must Visit This Epic Farmers Market At Least Once

Thanks to the state’s major agricultural and farming industries, you’ll find a wonderful selection of farmers’ markets throughout Indianapolis. During the spring, summer, and fall especially, you won’t have to look for for a farmers’ market full of fresh fruit, vegetables, and baked goods. We’re here to tell you the one market in Indy that you simply can’t miss.

Indy’s most epic farmers market is Broad Ripple Farmers Market.

Located in one of Indianapolis’ most popular neighborhoods, this market is a popular hotspot for locals. You’ll find it in the parking lot behind Broad Ripple High School.

It was voted "Indy’s Best Farmers Market" in 2017 by Indy A-List.

Beating out popular favorites such as Irvington, Fishers, and The Market at Hague, Broad Ripple has this year’s title as best market in the city thanks to its wide variety of vendors.

You’ll find a delicious selection of fruits and vegetables.

Freedom Valley Farm. Full Hand Farm. Lee’s Orchard. You may not know these by name but they are some of the best, local farms near Indianapolis and they all offer their selection of fruits and vegetables at this farmer’s market. If cheeses are your fancy, you’ll find them here.

You’ll find ample dairy products and cheeses at this market as well. You’ll find a wide selection of cheeses from Ludwig Farmstead Creamery, Tulip Tree Creamery, and many more dairy farms throughout the state.

The breads and baked goods are phenomenal.

Not to be outshined, local bakeries show up at Broad Ripple, too. If you’re a fan of Amelia’s Bakery or Native Bread, you can treat yourself to a lovely selection of their breads and baked goods.

Wednesday and Saturday Markets (A Winter Market, Too).

From October through November, Broad Ripple Farmers Market is open from 9 am to Noon on Saturday. June through September you can catch them open on Wednesdays, as well.
