Enjoy seeing (and touching) exotic animals, some you've never even heard of, at this amazing rescue. Check out all the animals they house below.

Critter Camp Exotic Pet Sanctuary serves animals who are incapable of being kept as pets.

From exotic birds to tortoises, visitors get an up-close look at some of the cutest animals people have tried to keep as family members in their homes.

Often, these animals get too big, expensive, or aggressive to keep, or their owners pass away or become ill, leaving them homeless.

Rather than let the animals get euthanized, this sanctuary provides them with everything they need.

Since it opened its doors in 2004, the facility has helped thousands of animals.

Typically, they have about 300 animals on-site including about 36 different species.

In addition to how these animals are cared for, you'll learn about their habits in the wild and what they eat.

Occasionally, the facility has pets available for adoption.

Sometimes an animal comes in that is friendly. Other times, an animal will be pregnant and give birth to babies that are adoptable. Contact the sanctuary for details.

A new building will be opening soon to allow for expansion and better care of the critters that call this sanctuary home.

To visit, you must make an appointment by calling or contacting the facility through its website.
