Ogle Magnificent Trees And Beautiful Waterways On This Fairy Tale Trail In Georgia

Settles Bridge Park's Extended Loop Trail in Georgia offers a fairy tale-like escape with its scenic forest and river views.

Life can be hard, and it's not just young children who sometimes dream of escaping into a fairy tale world of their own imaginations! We may not have the ability to whisk ourselves away to a magical castle, but one thing we do have are some great fairy tale trails in Georgia that will at least make you feel like you're getting away to a marvelous fictional realm for a bit. One of our favorites is the Extended Loop Trail at Settles Bridge Park in Suwanee. This gorgeous forest trail will take you along a lovely stretch of the Chattahoochee River and through a gorgeous forest that feels so remote even though it's not far from the city at all. Escaping your troubles with a walk through nature is the next best thing to entering your very own fairy tale!

Settles Bridge Park is a lovely 268-acre park in the Suwanee/Buford area. It's a stunning natural haven and walking through the area, you'd never guess that it's in a city!

You'll find a few different well-maintained trails here, so you can always mix it up and enjoy different scenery on your hike.

However, our favorite is the Settles Bridge Park Extended Loop Trail. This 2.4-mile trail has incredible water views.

The magnificent trees are incredible and provide great shade even on a sunny day.

There's so much lush greenery on this trail, and other than a few slightly steep areas, it's not very difficult.

The trail's got a great mix of terrain, with both paved areas and wooded sections.

These views look straight out of a fairy tale!

This is such a magnificent trail and a great way to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and enjoy some peace in nature.
