If not, I’ve found the perfect adventure for you.  Lake Catherine State Park is home to beautiful scenery, including a hiking trail leading to a swimming hole waterfall to wade in. Dip your toes in for a while, or just take photos and enjoy the natural relaxation you get from the rushing water.

Welcome to Lake Catherine State Park, a spot where natural beauty, lakeside activities, and more.

The highlight of the park is by far Falls Creek Falls, a stunning waterfall accessible by hike. Falls Branch Trail runs just 1.7 miles long, and during the right seasons, you'll be treated to some of the best beauty around.

When conditions are right, water flows over the rocks creating a 10-foot-tall waterfall, and fills the pool below. Take a walk across or dip your toes at this little watering hole but watch your step! The rocks are great for wading but may be slippery.

Though it's beautiful in every season, you can catch the waterfall during a beautiful blue phase. Though the water is sometimes clear, lucky visitors will see a turquoise tint to the pool. It's simply stunning!

If you love it here more than just a day trip, there are rentable cabins and modern-style homes here at Lake Catherine to make you as comfortable as you need to be. Depending on the cabin, there are ADA wheelchair-accessible rooms you can choose to make sure everyone can enjoy the lake.

They also have plenty of campsites available, and a full-service marina on the lake for everything you'll need to enjoy the lake when you aren't at the falls. Time to get planning!
