Nestled in the foothills of the Ozark Mountains is the small town of Shirley, Arkansas, and it is home to the Wade Lucas Farms.
Established in 2007, this family-owned and operated farm has been attracting berry pickers passing through the Ozarks since it opened.
The operating hours of the farm vary depending on availability, but normally, it is open Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Typically, the Wade Lucas Farms u-pick season runs between April and June, but there can be unexpected delays with the crops. Therefore, call ahead and make a reservation before visiting the farm. The number is (501) 723-7272.
Luckily, when the crops are in full bloom, you can pick buckets and buckets of the juiciest strawberries found in the Ozarks.
