Some planning is required if you'd like to hike this trail in its entirety; otherwise, you can just do a shorter portion and then turn around.

What to Know Before You Visit

Lynx Lake offers camping in addition to day use. The Lynx Campground, open from April 1 through October 31, has 35 campsites and four double campsites, each with a fire ring, picnic table, and grill. The lake area is also pet-friendly, so feel free to bring your dogs for a day in the great outdoors. Additionally, a nominal day-use fee of $5 is charged for parking and lake access.
