Welcome to Oracle State Park, a wildlife refuge with nearly 4,000 acres to explore.
Located right at the northern foothills of the Catalina Mountains, the park boasts some truly stunning scenery.
The park is home to the Kannally Ranch House, a historic home that was built between 1929-1933 and is filled with many original art pieces as well as historic photos.
It’s open for self-guided tours, so plan some time during your visit to pop in and check it out.
With more than 15 miles of hiking trails to explore, Oracle State Park is ideal of hikers from all skill levels to come out and hit the trails.
That’s including seven miles that are a part of the Arizona Trail.
You'll want to stick around until well after sunset. This park has been designated an International Dark Sky Park and is one of the best places in Arizona to see the night sky without light pollution.
The park often hosts star parties where folks can gather to do a little sky gazing, astrophotography, and more. Who knows, you might just see a shooting star!
