Montana is home to a greater variety of wildlife than anywhere else in the continental U.S. But if you'd like to see some truly exotic animals, you'll have to head to Zoo Montana. The Treasure State is lucky to have this gem.
ZooMontana is located at 2100 Shiloh Road in Billings.
Established in 1984, it's the only zoological and botanical park within a 500-mile radius.
The zoo has all kinds of exotic animals.
You'll see tigers, bald eagles, red pandas, and so much more.
ZooMontana cares for over 80 animals of 56 different species, most of which are rescues.
And the zoo grows every year.
You can visit the zoo any day of the week from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and they're always hosting special events.
You can even have your birthday party or wedding there.
The property also features a relaxing botanical garden you'll love walking through when the weather is pleasant...
... and every winter, ZooLights illuminates the night through the holiday season.
Admission to ZooMontana is $9 for adults, $6 for children. Little ones under 3 are free.
Come explore ZooMontana. In 2018 alone, the zoo donated over $35,000 back to the community through free passes, memberships and rental space.
ZooMontana is a must-see for all animal lovers. Here are some other must-see Montana spots.
