If You Live In Montana, You Must Visit This Unbelievable Thrift Store At Least Once

Glendive is a small city in Dawson County with a population of 5,400. Not only does it happen to be home to a very unique chapel, but it also has one of Montana’s best thrift stores. You’ll find The Attic at 113 S. Merrill Avenue, and it’s definitely worth driving for.

The Attic is operated by The Glendive Medical Center Auxiliary, a local full service acute care hospital with 24-hour emergency care.

The GMC Auxiliary has been giving back to the medical center and the Glendive community since 1966, so every purchase you make at The Attic goes toward a great cause.
The Attic has definitely changed in its 40 years of operation, but two things have remained the same: The unique inventory and the low prices.

Thrift shoppers love The Attic. The staff is continuously told that their store is the cleanest and the most reasonably priced in Montana.
Clothing and some other items that are not sold at The Attic are given to a Seattle salvage company.

Those items get sold to Third World countries (to the highest bidders for very low prices).
The Attic is open Monday - Friday from 8 AM until 5 PM, and on Saturdays from 8 - 1.
