Life is a journey, not a destination. And sometimes, it's the things we discover along the way that makes the entire journey more fun. Today, we're giving a special shout-out to the St. Regis Travel Center for always keeping us well-fed, well-entertained, and happier as we drive around the Treasure State. If you've never had the chance to explore this perfect pit stop, make it a part of your next road trip.
At first glance, the St. Regis Travel Center looks like just another service station on the side of the road.
Located on Mullan Gulch Road just off of I-90's Exit 33, it's known as one of the gateways to Glacier National Park.
Step inside and you'll find plenty of grab-and-go snacks...
... quirky collectibles, and grocery items. But this place is so much more.
The gift shop is surprisingly fantastic, featuring both locally made and international treasures.
If you've been looking for the perfect gift for someone hard to buy for, you just might find it here.
If you have a little time to spare, the on-site casino is a great place to win some vacation cash.
We told you, this place is one of the most
fun things to do in St. Regis, MT!
But the best attraction here for people of all ages is the live trout aquarium.
It sits right in the middle of the building, and you can't miss it. There's even a cylinder you can crawl through to get a 360-degree view of Montana's trout!
The Center also has a delicious place to dine known as Huck's Grill.
The ice cream here is exceptional, and they just might serve the most delicious huckleberry shakes in Montana.
Speaking of huckleberries, don't leave without stocking up on plenty of Montana-made products.
There's an entire section dedicated to local treats, and it's delightful.
The Center is open 24 hours a day, although not everything will be available in the wee hours.
You definitely want to make a stop at this place a part of your next summer road trip.
