One of our favorite spots for homemade bread in Montana is located in Helena and it's worth checking out if you love sweet treats and scrumptious treats.
A visit to Park Avenue Bakery in Helena provides an opportunity to try some of the best homemade bread in Montana.
Located right downtown, the bakery has been around since 1995. But, it sits in the same building as beloved Eddy’s Bakery, which was in the space beginning in 1930. Must be something in the walls that equals great baking!
Today, the shop specializes in European-style baked goods. In fact, back in 2013, the owners invested in an Italian steam deck oven. For those of us that aren't professional bakers, this allows them to create the bread we all love in a much more efficient way.
You just can't find better bread anywhere! Each day, freshly-baked loaves come out of the oven waiting to be enjoyed by locals.
Just be sure to arrive early for the best selection.
In addition to freshly baked bread, they also offer homemade desserts. This beautiful fresh fruit tart is just one example of what visitors can take home. They also offer custom cakes for special occasions.
Each homemade delicacy is beautifully created. The hardest part of visiting might be choosing just a few things to enjoy.
But, we're confident that anything you walk away with will have you coming back.
