It’s Impossible To Forget The Year Montana Saw Its Single Largest Snowfall Ever
If you’ve spent even one full year in Montana, you know it looks incredible when it’s covered in snow. That being said, there is such a thing as too much of a good thing when it comes to winter weather. And believe it or not, last winter, many Treasure State cities saw record-breaking snowfall.
By February of 2018, snowfall in Havre was over four feet above normal levels, with more on the way.

The city saw 106.1 inches of snow in late 2017 and early 2018.
Of course, the worst snowstorm in local history was in April of 1955, when 42.3 inches fell in only three days.
The city got more than double it's average snowfall last year, and this winter's forecast calls for plenty as well.
Winters are especially bad for business here when the snow piles so high in the streets that everything is forced to shut down.
Perhaps this winter will be a bit milder.
