Morrell Falls In Montana Will Soon Be Surrounded By Beautiful Fall Colors
The Morrell Falls National Recreation Trail is a popular hike that’s located near another favorite natural wonder, Seeley Lake. And while it’s a fantastic terrain to cover in the summer, this area really comes to life in the fall. In fact, it won’t be long until the trail is surrounded by rich, vibrant autumn hues.
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. While we continue to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, please take proper precautions or add them to your bucket list to see at a later date. If you know of a local business that could use some extra support during these times, please nominate them here: onlyinyourstate.com/nominate

And in the spring and summer, it tends to look like this...

The fall scenery here is truly out of this world.

While it's good for all skill levels, it will probably be too much for very young children and total beginners.

And in September and October, every step is incredibly colorful.

Make sure to pack your bear spray and plenty of water.

Morrell Falls cascades over 70 feet into Morrell Creek, and it's a real stunner, especially in the autumn.

Not only is it especially beautiful, but you'll be able to avoid the summer crowds.
Montana’s waterfall hikes are truly second to none. And since most of them are best explored in the summer, it’s nice to have one we can save for fall.
