Montana's craft beer scene has exploded in recent years, and those of us who love a nice, cold brew couldn't be happier about it. But while many of our breweries and tap rooms sit in the heart of our cities, the H.A. Brewing microbrewery and tap room went a different route. And trust us when we say that you'll definitely want to visit.
H. A. Brewery Co. is located just outside of Eureka on a fully functioning farmstead.
The address is 2525 Grave Creek Road.
Six years ago, the owner and founder, Chris Neill, started brewing beer on his farm for his family and friends.
After a lot of encouragement from his loved ones, he turned his passion into a business.
Along with his wife, sons, and two business partners, Chris built the business on the family homestead.
The farm sits in the shadows of Glacier National Park, and the surrounding scenery is beautiful.
On a nice, sunny day, there's no better place to be than the outdoor beer garden, as this uninvited guest has discovered...
... but the indoor tap room is a great place to be as well.
As if the excellent beer wasn't enough, HA Brewing serves some seriously mouthwatering pizza.
The wood fired pizza is served nightly by Jax Pizza, and it pairs perfectly with the selection of craft brews.
Depending on when you visit, you might get to enjoy some trivia, hear some live music, or catch another event.
The events are listed on the website.
HA Brewing Co. is currently open Wednesday-Sunday from 3-9.
They have longer hours in the summertime.
This beautiful farm brewery is family-friendly, although you'll need to leave your dogs at home. And while you're in the area, make sure to spend some time in the charming town of Eureka.
