You Won’t Forget Your Stay At This Magical Mansion In Missouri
Wouldn’t it be nice to wake up one morning and find yourself living in a beautiful mansion? Well, if you reserve a night at this one historic mansion in Hannibal, that dream of yours might just come true.

Famous author, Mark Twain, grew up in Hannibal, Missouri. As a child, he befriended John Garth and Helen Kerchevel. Garth married Helen Kerchevel and they started their own family. They briefly lived in New York City following the Civil War, but returned to Hannibal in 1871. Garth bought a farm and summer house southwest of Hannibal which he called, "Woodside." While Twain no longer lived in Hannibal, the three friends stayed in touch and Twain frequently sent them copies of his books.

All of the rooms feature a fireplace, TV , feather bed and other amenities. Some of them have their own private bathroom as well.

Every morning, breakfast is served and includes fresh fruits, warm breads and hot entrees. If you have special dietary restrictions, just let the staff know in your reservation and Julie will accommodate when cooking your meal.

Each cottage comes with its own private bathroom and kitchenette.

This cottage was made specifically for romantic getaways and honeymoons. It comes with a whirlpool and a private hot tub on the patio that overlooks the property pond. Instead of walking to the mansion for breakfast, staff members will bring breakfast to you and have it set up in the kitchen by the time you wake up.

The mansion and its surrounding property serve as an amazing backdrop for any wedding. Purchase the all-inclusive wedding package and everything from the wedding venue to the flowers will be included for your special day.

You might not expect to see alpacas at a bed & breakfast, but Garth Woodside isn't like most bed & breakfasts.

You'll feel like a hot shot when you spend a weekend at this gorgeous and historic mansion.
