The Amazing Restaurant In Missouri That Offers More Than Just Delicious Food
While Missouri as a whole is well-known for their first-in-class BBQ joints, many consider Kansas City to be the mecca for all things slathered and smoked to perfection. However, this particular BBQ spot offers more than just delicious food and you’ll want to spend most of your spring and summer days here.
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. While we continue to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, please take proper precautions or add them to your bucket list to see at a later date. If you know of a local business that could use some extra support during these times, please nominate them here: onlyinyourstate.com/nominate

This southern-inspired smokehouse is relatively new to the Westport area, but already it has become a smashing hit.

In addition to pulled pork, burnt ends and ribs, diners can also take advantage of Char Bar's vegetarian BBQ options. Hold on a second, vegetarian BBQ? Yep, it exists! Their Jackknife sandwich is filled with BBQ-slathered jackfruit and it's simply irresistible.

The beer garden is lined with long picnic tables and high tops for outdoor dining. Their outdoor bar makes it a prime place for happy hour or for after dinner drinks.

Char Bar's patio is packed with games for guests to enjoy while they wait for a meal or as they sip on their drinks.

In addition to croquet, you can also play corn hole, Bocce ball and even ping pong. To play a game, simply make a request to a server for more information on time availability and any fees that apply.

Despite having an outdoor beer garden, the restaurant is still extremely kid friendly too. All ages are welcome to join in on the fun and it's a perfect place for families to gather!
