Let’s do something exotic today, Missouri! When you say Missouri, most people wouldn’t automatically think exotic, right? But, did you know that you don’t have to travel to a tropical locale to go scuba diving? You can learn how to scuba dive and go scuba diving in Missouri at one of our beautiful state parks.
Spend a day exploring Table Rock Lake at State Park Marina, where you can learn how to scuba dive or, if you're already a seasoned diver, go out on dives.
Tucked in the cozy 356-acre Table Rock State Park, the picturesque marina has teamed with DiVentures to offer a variety of scuba diving lessons and excursions.
In fact, Table Rock Lake offers plenty to explore and ideal water temperatures. Swim past rows of petrified trees. Let sunfish eat from your hand. And, admire the bass fish that swim by you.
Enjoy ideal water temperatures, too. At the surface, the water doesn't get warmer than 85 degrees Fahrenheit. And, when you're 30 feet below the surface, expect an average temperature of 60 degrees.
But, first, you have to decide on which adventure you will embark. Just learning to scuba dive? Opt for the Try Scuba Diving Excursion, the Open Water Diver Course, or the Open Water Training Dives.
Been a while since you've gone scuba diving? Then, sign up for the refresher course. The only things you'll have to bring with you to your chosen course are your wet suit, fins, snorkel, and mask.
Of course, you'll find plenty more to do at State Park Marina. Go boating, kayaking, canoeing, bass fishing, or ride a wave runner. You'll find everything you need to enjoy a day on the water right at the marina.
Embark on an unforgettable adventure at State Park Marina. Hours vary seasonally. Visit daily from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. in April, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. in May, and 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. in June, July, and August.
