The One Park In Kansas City That Transforms Into An Autumn Wonderland
Kansas City’s fall colors might not kick in until November, but we’re still excited for cooler days to nip our noses and steamy drinks to warm our hands. There’s plenty of places in and around the city to find your favorite fall colors, but this one park near the Country Club District is our very own autumn wonderland. Of course, all we have to do is wait patiently for the leaves to change! Let’s see what could be in store for the coming season.

Jacob L. Loose park consists of 75 acres filled with history and nature.
In 1931, the Kansas City Rose Society was formed, adding just 120 plants to the site. Today there are thousands of plants of over 150 varieties, some of which bloom in the fall.
Be careful if you plan to propose to that special someone here; if you drop that sparkly engagement ring, it does (unfortunately) fit through the gaps!
