Whether you're still looking for fun things to do or your schedule is full, you'll certainly want to carve out a bit of time for a leisurely fall hayride in Missouri that includes wine tasting and gorgeous fall scenery.
Jowler Creek Vineyard & Winery in Platte City provides an enchanting backdrop for an autumn adventure. Its Wine Tasting Hayride will run Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from October 2-31, 2020.
Can you think of a better pairing than a leisurely hayride to admire the fall landscape while sipping a fine wine?
Climb aboard the wagon, which features bales of hay, that will take you around the picturesque farm, particularly stunning wrapped in the fall foliage.
As you sip wine made right at Jowler Creek Vineyard & Winery, you'll also learn about the winery's history and the wine you're sampling.
Hayrides, which set off weather-permitting, cost $15 per person, and tickets must be purchased in advance. Your ticket includes the scenic hayride, five wine samples, and a wine glass to take home.
Due to the pandemic, fewer people will be permitted on each hayride. Tickets will be sold in increments of two. You can also reserve a private hayride for a group.
