9 Winter Festivals In Missouri That Are Simply Unforgettable
Christmas tunes have already started playing on the radio, which must mean that it’s time to celebrate the holidays! Luckily, most of these unique winter festivals take place after Thanksgiving, so you can enjoy that special family holiday before caroling away under the Christmas lights. Here are just a few of my favorite winter festivals in Missouri.
1. Dicken's Christmas - Warrensburg
Stroll through downtown Warrensburg from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, December 3rd and enjoy include horse and wagon rides, carolers, live music, chestnut roasting on an open fire, a tree lighting ceremony and much more.

2. Silver Dollar City Old Christmas Time - Branson
Known as one of the best holiday festivals in the Midwest, Old Christmas Time at Silver Dollar City boasts one of the best holiday parades, extravagant light displays, visits with Santa and more. It takes place November 5th to December 30th.

3. Christmas On The Square - Camdenton
Create crafts in the city hall and snack on holiday treats as you wait for Santa Claus to visit. This small, local festival takes place on December 3rd.

4. Clarksville Christmas Market - Clarksville
Over 100 vendors will be showcasing and selling their goods in the historic apple shed in Clarksville. Snag the perfect gift, listen to carolers, visit with Santa or pick up a Silver Pine Christmas while you're there.

5. Holidays Come Alive - Kansas City
Features holiday dance showcases, craft fairs, visits from Santa Claus and more. It starts November 18th and ends with a New Year's Eve Bash on December 31st.

6. Christmas in Old Time - Florrisant
Each child that visits with Santa will receive a gift at this cozy little festival in Old Town Florissant. Come Saturday, December 3rd from 2-4:40 p.m.

7. Christmas at Hermann Farm - Hermann
Enjoy a 19th-century Christmas at Hermann Farm. Features historic tours, music, storytelling, exhibits, a strolling Father Christmas, a German Belsnickle, winter tram rides and more. It takes place December 3rd - 4th.

8. Christmas Traditions - Saint Charles
This month-long festival takes place from November 25th to December 24th and celebrates holiday history, literature, and folklore.

9. Holiday and Christmas Festival - Ste. Genevieve
This weekend festival in historic Sainte Genevieve features a Christmas parade, carriage rides, photos with Santa & Mrs. Claus, and over thirty free musical programs performed throughout the historic district. It takes place December 3rd - December 4th.
