Located in a tiny town in an unassuming building, Saxon’s Drive In is the epitome of a hidden gem.
Like most drive-ins, Saxon’s serves ice cream-based desserts, including milkshakes. However, unlike most drive-ins, the shakes at Saxon’s are piled high with tantalizing toppings.
The over-the-top milkshakes are like a sweet dream come true! In addition to menu staples, the shake selection also includes seasonal and holiday-themed creations.
The mouthwatering menu features an impressive variety of homemade goodness, which includes everything from burgers and BBQ to catfish, shrimp, chicken fried steak, and more.
In spite of the pandemic, Saxon’s Drive In is still open for to-go orders, which should be called in prior to your arrival. The drive-in’s normal operating hours are: Wednesday – Friday, from 10:30 a.m. – 8 p.m., and Saturday, from 10:30 a.m. – 9 p.m. For more information, call (662) 456-2419. You can also visit the Saxon’s Drive In Facebook page.
This isn’t the only sweet spot with travel-worthy shakes. Read about another here.
