Stocked With Quirky Goods And Tasty Treats, A Visit To Mississippi’s Old South Trading Post Is Downright Fun
Souvenir shops are usually filled with a variety of knick knacks and other items that, while adorable, are pretty useless. But not all souvenir shops – and Old South Trading Post is proof. Located in Natchez, it’s been dubbed the South’s most unique souvenir shop, and it definitely doesn’t disappoint. Take a look:
Since opening in 2005, Old South Trading Post has become known for its tasty array of goods, unique merchandise, and southern hospitality.
Look around, and you’ll find an extensive variety of locally produced goods. In fact, Old South Trading Post carries one of the largest selections of Mississippi and Louisiana items in the region.
Jellies, Natchez pickles, condiments, and sauces are among the mouthwatering merchandise. There’s also a variety of mixes, including biscuit mix and dip mixes, which are some of the shop’s top sellers.
Remember, there are Louisiana products, like Café du Monde coffee and beignet mixes, too. And that’s in addition to an array of non-edible merchandise, such as cookbooks, cards, gifts, décor, and more.
Old South Trading Post is open 7 days a week. Visit Sunday – Friday 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. For more information, call (601) 446-5354. You can also check out Old South Trading Post’s website.
