This Certified Wildlife Habitat In Mississippi Is Also A Restaurant And It’s Fun For The Whole Family
We’ve got animal parks in Mississippi. We’ve got hidden gem restaurants in Mississippi. And to the surprise of many, we’ve even got places that serve as both! One such place is Cowboy Jim’s Riverside Restaurant in Mississippi. As a Certified Wildlife Habitat, animal sightings are just as likely as a great meal.
Cowboy Jim’s Riverside Restaurant is nestled on the banks of the Bouie River in Lone Star, a small community between Collins and Prentiss.
The remote locale might seem like a bit of a nuisance. However, it does have its perks, including the fact that it’s led to the restaurant being recognized as a Certified Wildlife Habitat by the National Wildlife Federation.
At any given time, an array of animals can be seen roaming the property. Resident wildlife isn’t the only thing that sets the eatery apart from others, though.
Don’t let the menu and white linens fool you, though. Dubbed “country, fine dining,” Cowboy Jim’s is a come-as-you-are type of place, so there’s no need to get gussied up.
