Delicious restaurants abound in Minnesota, even in some of the state’s most remote places. We have restaurants nestled inside of national forests, like the Trestle Inn. The Trail Center Lodge is a popular stop on the Gunflint Trail that has been serving up great meals to weary travelers since 1938. Trail Center Lodge is a store, restaurant, and lodge on the Gunflint Trail in northern Minnesota. It's about 30 miles north of Grand Marais, on Poplar Lake.

Since 1938, the Trail Center has been a stopping point for those traveling along the Gunflint Trail. It was originally built as a logging camp, but it now has many amenities. There's a grocery store, a gas station, a gift store, and cabins for rent.

Many people also stop here to eat in the delicious restaurant. The dining room is warm and welcoming, with plenty of seating for groups large and small. You'll always get friendly service here.
