Minnesota’s Enchanting 1/2-Mile Sever’s Holiday Lights Holiday Drive-Thru Is Sure To Delight

Here in Minnesota, there are many ways to celebrate the holiday season. Santa visits, Christmas carols, and twinkling lights make the season magical. In 2020, many favorite events are canceled in light of COVID-19 restrictions. But other fun attractions have sprouted up all across the state that allow safe social distancing. Among the most popular events are drive-thru lights shows. You can find them at Duluth’s Bentleyville, at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds, and even at ValleyFair. Today, we want to add another light show to the list. Shakpoee, Minnesota, is home to a 1/2-mile drive-thru light show that you will love. Here’s what you need to know:

Sever's Holiday Lights is a drive-thru light show in Shakopee, Minnesota. It's put on by the same people who do the famous Sever's Corn Maze every fall.

This dazzling light show is a 1/2-mile path through enchanting lights synchronized to music. Simply turn on the radio and enjoy the colorful dance of 1.2 million lights!

The event goes from November 26, 2020, to January 3, 2021. It's open 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.

Tickets are required to enter the event. It's $7 per person, or a maximum of $25 per car. It takes around 40 minutes to go through the event, and cars with tickets can go through as many times as they'd like!

Thursday through Sunday, there are concessions available for purchase at Sever's Holiday Lights. Munch on mini donuts or popcorn and wash it down with apple cider or hot cocoa as you enjoy this dazzling holiday event!
