If you had any plans for the next 48 hours that included anything other than staying inside and keeping warm, then we hate to break it to you but that’s absolutely all you will be doing. Like so many states, Minnesota is not the exception when it comes to getting hit with 2016’s Polar Vortex. Tonight, the lower half of the state is predicted to be hit with some pretty heavy snowfall. Are you ready Minnesota?

We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life as we all practice social and physical distancing. While we’re continuing to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, we don’t expect or encourage you to go check them out immediately. We believe that supporting local attractions is important now more than ever and we hope our articles inspire your future adventures! And on that note, please nominate your favorite local business that could use some love right now: https://www.onlyinyourstate.com/nominate/

Like always, be sure that you’re even more cautious than usual if you absolutely have to go out and travel during this storm. To our fellow Minnesota residents, we hope you have plans to cozy up to a mug of hot cocoa while you binge through all of your favorite Netflix shows.
